The festival will promote the infinite green possibilities of the soybean, and have fun doing so. The festival hopes to provide fun for all ages, including: tractor rides, singer/songwriters, street dances, a parade, green builders expo, soy farming expo, sustainable street market, health expo & sustainable foods fair, historical exhibits, educational exhibits, children's activities, numerous contests, and tons of prizes. Organized by the Farmington Downtown Business Association, the Minnesota Soybean Festival is currently working to provide free supplies for soybean-based school curriculum to Minnesota teachers and soliciting volunteers, sponsorships and in-kind contributions.
